• The Fishial project’s vision is to enable a quantum leap in the research & development of Artificial Intelligence to enable "Fishial Recognition" of all 34,000 fish species by name

Mission

The Fishial project is part of the Wye Foundation, a nonprofit organization 501(3)c seeking to enable the development of a highly accurate fish identification technology using Artificial Intelligence.

• We are building the world's largest open sourced fish species photo library tagged for AI machine learning.
• We seek the development of a highly accurate AI model that can identify fish species by name world wide!
• We believe this is a fundamental technology that will enable new approaches and faster development of commercial an non-commercial systems that can contribute to the survival of our fisheries in this era of climate change.
